Love in Prema Vasam

Report of a visit in a charitable association for destitute children in Chennai, India

One day Selvyn, young psychologist from Chennai, while walking on a sidewalk came across a little child, abandoned, because handicapped.
He named the little child Prem, Love.
Later on he built one house to aid other children in the same destitute conditions.
And he called the house Prema Vasam, the House of Love.

Prema Vasam (where love resides) is an NGO operative in the area of Chennai, taking care of chellenged and destitute children. We had the possibility to be their guests for a few days and we would like to share with you these pictures.

Prema Vasam is also a project of Cotronix Charitable Society

Chronique de la visite à l’institut Prema Vasam de Chennai, Inde

Un jour Selvyn, jeune Psychologue de Chennai, trouva un enfant gravement handicapé, mourant sur un trottoir.
Il le nomma Prem, amour.
Autour de lui il construisit une maison destinée à accueillir d’autres enfants connaissant le même triste sort.
Il l’appela Prema Vasam, la maison de l’amour.

Prema Vasam (la maison de l’amour) est une ONG indienne située dans la banlieue de Chennai. L’association s’occupe d’enfants handicapés moteurs et mentaux et d’enfants des rues. Nous avons eu la chance d’être leurs invités et nous sommes heureux de partager ces images avec vous.

Prema Vasam est aussi un projet de la Onlus Cotronix

Lo chiamò Prem, amore.
E costruì una casa per accogliere altri bambini nelle stesse condizioni.
La chiamò Prema Vasam, la casa dell’amore.
